DevotionalJust as our physical bodies need regular nourishment to thrive, our spiritual lives require daily sustenance from God's Word. When we skip meals, we become weak and irritable. Similarly, when we neglect our spiritual nourishment, we become vulnerable to temptation and spiritual weakness. God's Word isn't meant to be a last resort when we're in trouble - it's meant to be our daily bread, sustaining us through every season of life. By making Scripture our primary source of spiritual nourishment, we build resistance against life's challenges and maintain spiritual vitality.
Bible Verse
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." - 2 Timothy 3:16
Reflection Question
How would your life be different if you treated God's Word as essential as your daily meals?
Quote You cannot survive if you're spiritually on empty, you're in the danger zone. God doesn't want you to be spiritually on empty. God wants you to be on full.
Prayer
Lord, create in me a hunger for Your Word. Help me prioritize spiritual nourishment as much as physical nourishment. Thank you for providing everything I need for life and godliness through Your Word. Amen.
