DevotionalLike trees need different conditions throughout the year to grow strong and produce fruit, our spiritual lives go through various seasons. Some seasons feel like spring, full of growth and new insights. Others might feel like winter, where growth seems dormant. Yet in every season, God's Word remains our constant source of life. Just as trees need consistent water and sunlight, we need regular exposure to Scripture to thrive. When we remain rooted in God's Word through every season, we develop deep roots that sustain us through life's storms.
Bible Verse
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" - Psalm 91:1-2
Reflection Question
What season are you currently in, and how can God's Word specifically minister to you in this season?
Quote The only way a tree can live is if it has water. The only way a tree can live if it has sunlight. The only way a tree can live if it gets the nourishment it needs.
Prayer
Father, thank you for being faithful in every season of my life. Help me stay rooted in Your Word regardless of my circumstances. Use every season to grow my faith deeper. Amen.
