DevotionalLife's journey often leaves us with scars - some visible, others hidden in our hearts. Whether it's church hurt, betrayal, or disappointment, these wounds can tempt us to withdraw and protect ourselves. But healing doesn't come through isolation; it comes through trust in God's restorative power. The church isn't meant to be a waiting room where we sit with our pain, but a hospital where we find healing through God's presence and His people. When we trust God with our healing journey, He can transform our deepest hurts into testimonies of His faithfulness.
Bible Verse
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10
Reflection Question
How has past hurt affected your ability to trust God and others, and what step can you take today toward healing?
Quote The church is the hospital, not the waiting room. In the hospital, you get healed. In the waiting room, you wait.
Prayer
Lord, I bring my wounds to You for healing. Help me trust You with my pain and find restoration in Your presence. Use my story to encourage others on their journey to healing. Amen.
