What Shall We Do Ministries is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Pastor Lionel Peters
Senior Pastor
Pastor Lionel Peters is the senior Pastor of What Shall We Do Ministries in the city of Hawthorne, CA. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, Ca. As a child and throughout his teenage years, he attended multiple church conventions and revivals with his family and was encouraged to not only learn the word of God, but to also walk by faith and not by sight.
In August 2009, Pastor Lionel Peters was filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus name at Peace Apostolic Church in Carson, CA. Shortly after, he married his high school sweetheart Joy Peters and they are the proud parents of two beautiful children. Pastor Lionel Peters served under the leadership of Bishop Howard A. Swancy for over 10 years evangelizing and ministering to many souls.
In 2016, Pastor Lionel Peters became a Licensed California State Minister. He also studied Biblical Studies and Theology graduating from Aenon School of Theology. Pastor Lionel Peters is a Board Member at the Azusa Lighthouse Mission where he ministered for several years on skid row. Pastor Lionel is a Licensed Realtor, property owner, investor and owns a successful property management company in Southern California, Barshay & Peters Management Company.
After ministering and evangelizing for several years helping many churches Pastor Lionel Peters felt the leading of Lord in 2019 that there was more work to be done. He started his church What Shall We Do Ministries in November 2020 in the middle of the Pandemic. Though the timing did not seem right to some, this was God’s perfect timing. Since the church has been established many souls have been saved and God continues to show his hand.
